So it’s that time of year again Fall is approaching and I have a love-hate relationship with this season. While I enjoy the warm weather and prefer it over the inevitable chilling weather that Fall brings I actually enjoy the Fall fashion scene. It’s the time where knee-high boots and tailored jackets are appropriate. I can’t wait to pull my booties back out and pair them with one of my knit sweaters and distressed denim. With New York Fashion Week commencing, there have been some pretty cool trends revealed for Fall 2018, and I am sharing a few of my favorites:
As if you’d wear anything but plaid this Fall. Plaid is back on the scene, and I have seen it worn from head to toe, or paired with a solid color like black or purple. Mix and match and make it your own.
Who doesn’t love pink. Maybe I am a little biased because it is my favorite color. Fuchsia is standing out as the color of the season. Wear it all over this Fall, like some of these examples below. I know I will be.
Sassy Oversized Suiting
Business meets pleasure with this trend. This is suiting not safe for work that includes asymmetrical necklines and distinct shoulder pads that will make the fall suit more suitable for a night out on the town. Pair it with a nice bootie or knee-high boot for an added wow factor.
Although tights may appear to be outdated, this insertion of color is the perfect addition to any outfit. There are plenty of different ways to jazz it up with a pair of metallic or bold yellow tights.
One can never have too many bags, especially the kind that are ideal for carrying everything in it. The oversized tote is making its way back on the scene, and there are plenty of variations that you can go with.
It’s time to ditch those simple shades and brighten your day with none other than colored lenses. Tint is in this season, and there are plenty of styles out there from all of your favorite designers.
