As you all know, I am the National Miss Captivating of the national Captivating Pageants! I am about a quarter way through my reign, and wanted to talk about some of the appearances I have made so far. While it is nice to have the sparkly crown and sash, the title is about way more than the crown. For me, it is about leaving a legacy and making a difference in someone else’s life. I have had the honor and privilege of spreading kindness around the state of Massachusetts and beyond, and plan to continue doing so for the remainder of my reign. I would like to highlight some of my favorite appearances so far.
Crown Talk with Burgundy Radio Talk Show
I appeared on this wonderful talk show and got to talk all things pageantry and all things going on in my life! I enjoyed this appearance because I got to do it from the comfort of my home and there were over 3,000 people who listened worldwide as far as Australia!

New York Fashion Week 2.0
I got to check off a bucket list item of going to New York and walking during New York Fashion Week! I had the opportunity to walk with two of my sister queens National Mrs. Captivating and the National Captivating Ambassador! The two collections I walked for were That’s My Dress (a pageant dress store in Virginia) and Noneillah. It was a very fast paced weekend!
Operation Thank a Veteran
On Veteran’s Day last year, I had the opportunity to volunteer with Operation Thank a Veteran. This was a meaningful experience because we went to houses where veterans live in Boston and thanked them for their service and provided them with a special memorabilia coin and resources for veterans in the city. Some veterans do not have friends and family to support them, so it was nice to show them that someone was thinking about them. In the picture with me is Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Treasurer Deb Goldberg.
Dress for Success Boston
Every week on Monday, I spend time volunteering at Dress for Success Boston, which is an organization that focuses on providing resources for women who are applying for a job and may have been homeless, involved in domestic violence or in jail, etc.. I have the opportunity to dress them in business clothing so that they feel confident when going to their job interviews. It is wonderful to see the smiles on women’s faces when they look and feel confident.
